Reports To: Executive Director


Position Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt


Salary: Starting at $36,000+

Position Summary

The Human Trafficking Prevention and Supports Coordinator is a full-time position partially funded partially through the STOP grant program. This role focuses on serving victims of human trafficking ages 11 and older. The Coordinator will lead efforts to implement and monitor grant activities, establish protocols for a multidisciplinary response, and ensure professional and community education surrounding human trafficking prevention and response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary team (MDT) members.

  • Maintain regular communication with MDT representatives (Local, State and Federal).

  • Foster strong relationships with partner agencies and community service providers.

  • Program & Protocol Development:

  • Assist with the development of protocols related to human trafficking.

  • Oversee compliance with protocols, addressing any gaps or educational needs.

  • Identify and implement appropriate screening tools and community resources.

  • Promote evidence-based practices within Butler County.

  • Grant Management & Compliance:

  • Monitor STOP grant activities and ensure program evaluation benchmarks are met.

  • Track and collect data to measure program outcomes.

  • Ensure adherence to PA Commission on Crime and Delinquency standards.

  • Community Education & Awareness:

  • Develop and distribute educational materials related to human trafficking.

  • Develop and deliver training and educational programs on human trafficking prevention for professionals, schools, and community members.

  • Create and distribute outreach and educational materials

  • Conduct community and professional education sessions on protocols and best practices.

  • Perform human trafficking assessments for referred children, coordinate services and maintain follow up interactions with victims.

  • Administrative Duties:

  • Attend Human Trafficking Taskforce Meetings bi-monthly.

  • Support fundraising events and agency initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

​

Essential:

  • Knowledge of sex trafficking dynamics and the criminal justice system.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database functions.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

  • Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and conduct relevant research.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

  • Ability to pass all required background screenings:

  • Pennsylvania ChildLine Child Abuse Clearance

  • Pennsylvania State Police Clearance

  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Clearance

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, human services, or related field with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Experience or specialized knowledge related to human trafficking victims aged 11 and older..

​

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends.

  • Attendance at ongoing trainings relevant to human trafficking.

  • Completion of pre-employment physical exam, TB test, and drug screening.

  • Adherence to professional conduct standards, agency policies, and the National Children’s Alliance guidelines.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Standard office environment with frequent computer work.

  • Regular travel to community sites with varying conditions.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and maintain mobility for office and community-based work.
